From January 31 to February 2, the G15 Section Leadership is excited to host and facilitate Polestar.
Where’s it happening?
We’re currently planning to hold the event at Camp Pigott in the Chief Seattle Council. However, due to recent storm damage at the camp, if it’s not reopened in time, we’ll move to our backup location at Camp Thunderbird in the Pacific Harbors Council. Stay tuned for updates!
What’s Polestar all about?
Polestar: Induction Leadership Training is an interactive, two-day experience that combines an engaging video presentation with locally facilitated group discussions and hands-on workshops using the Participant Workbook. Although the training can be completed online at your own pace, nothing beats the dynamic experience of a small group session at a lodge or section event!
This training is essential for all youth and adults who lead OA activities locally and anyone interested in learning the “how” and “why” of the OA’s functions.
What to expect?
While Brotherhood completion is not required, some portions of the training touch on the Brotherhood Ceremony. To ensure no spoilers, we’ll offer a separate training during those parts for any Ordeal members in attendance.
